Latvia's largest digital printing company SIA “Drukātava” has moved its production from rented premises in Riga to Rasmaņi, Olaine region, where a completely new building meeting the technological requirements has been built to the company's order. A total of 498 thousand EUR has been invested in the project, which includes the purchase of land, construction of communications, construction of the building and relocation expenses. The project has received co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund in the amount of EUR 173,250.

“We chose a place outside Riga, because in the capital, if there is land available only with zoning for industrial buildings, then it is relatively expensive. In addition, in the age of technology, where orders are received and reconciled electronically and around 70% of production is exported, it is more important to be closer to the airport, where all the major logistics centers are concentrated than in the city, moreover, customers can reach us from the center by car as fast as at our old home in Pardaugava. ”, Valdis Jirgens, Member of the Board of SIA “Drukātava”, states.

The new building covers an area of 1,080 square meters, of which 120 are office space and the rest is dedicated to production and warehousing. The building is designed to provide the necessary humidity and temperature regime for the equipment, as well as to limit the amount of dust. All the company's production facilities are located in the new premises, but the area of the purchased land plot - 1.5 hectares - allows you not to worry about further development, as it was before renting the premises. The steady growth was the reason why the company had relocated six times since its inception in 2005.
