In the latest Latvian Business Annual Report (Latvijas Biznesa gada pārskats) for 2014, prepared by Firmas.lv and the news agency LETA, SIA “Drukātava” has climbed up to the 23rd position from the 37th a year ago, therefore, retaining the leading position among those printing and publishing companies, whose key specialisation is digital printing.
The Tops of annual reports of the Latvian companies are prepared based on three publicly available indices: net turnover, profit changes and profitability. Consequently, SIA “Drukātava” with its financial and growth indices has left behind not only all digital printing companies, but also many other printing and publishing companies that operate using very old technologies.

“We are sure that digital printing, the increase of which in the total printing volumes is experienced every year, is the future of printing and publishing industry. With the mass production or editions of thousands decreasing and with the amount of individualised printing works printed in several hundred copies increasing, the digital technologies are certainly superior than the traditional printing opportunities and costs,” said Valdis Jirgens, Board Member of SIA “Drukātava”.
